No 4-wheel drive

Default No 4-wheel drive

I have a '87 s10 blazer (6cyl, automatic) that will not go into 4 wheel drive.....any ideas for what I can check?.....e.g. cable, linkage, etc.

Vacuum actuator under battery or vacuum switch on tcase.

On that old of a truck, the actuator is located on the inner fender, not under the battery.
