My wife took the truck to the school, and it started making a whining noise in drive. (No check engine light) So I went and got her, and I noticed it doesn't want to shift until I let off the gas. Then when I got home it wouldn't go into reverse. Any Ideas? I really need to get this fixed asap. I did a quick search, but then I decided to throw the question while I am looking.

 

I bet you only have two forward gears. If so, you broke your reaction sun shell and the transmission needs to be torn down.
