no start
hey everyone, new to the forum. hoping someone can help. i have a 92 blazer 4.3, i recently replaced the fuel pump on the truck and now it won,t start. i changed the plugs, wires the coil, module and fuel filter. i have fuel up to the injector block, but nothing coming out, also replaced wiring harness to the injector and the injector block. i have 12 volts going to the injector and it's clicking like crazy. does anybody know if it could be the ecm or something related to it. any advice would be greatly appreciated, my brain hurts and i don't want to just keep throwing parts on the truck. RE: no start
Look a few posts down for 89 4.3 won't start. I posted the electrical diagram and troubleshooting procedure as two attachments. Sounds like fuel pump relay or possible ECM/ECM fuse.

RE: no start
First have to know if this is a CPI motor or a TBI motor. Next, we need to know if you have the proper fuel pressure at the injector (14-18psi for TBI, 55-60psi for CPI). You will need a 'T' adapter to test the fuel pressure if you have the TBI injection system.
If you have the TBI setup, then the post mr.vls was speaking of may be of some help, but things are different for a CPI motor.

RE: no start
the truck is a cpi motor. i have not checked pressure for actual #'s, i'm actually in the process of getting my hands ona gauge,i checked fuses to ecm they are good, the relay is just a fusible link, i have power going to it, but did not think to check power after the fuse. like a bone head when i did the fuel pump, i went to start the truck and realized i never unhooked the battery. someone told me i could've damaged the ecm. Thank you guys for the insight i'll have to check on the pressure, i will let ya know. i'm liking the forum, very helpful.
