No Torque Converter Bolts
So Im replacing the transmission in my 1998 Chevy s10 4wd blazer, and taking apart a Oldsmobile Bravada of the same year. The strange thing is that when I removed the Starter.
The flywheel is smaller, and you cannot access the torque converter bolts. Anyone know why? This is in the Bravada at the junkyard.
I know about the AWD vs 4wd differences, drive shaft differences, and transfer case.
But seriously you cant access the torque converter bolts either?!? On the bravada. WTF
If I pull the engine and transmssion out, I can probably unbolt the transmission.
But the Torque converter I guess will stay on the flywheel when I do, and its going to be a super pain reinstalling like this.
This is huge, whats going on, the inspection area is supposed to allow access to those bolts whats going on. I can probably get a picture in a couple of days.

The truck was at the junkyard and very dirty so yeah I couldnt see the inspection cover. All the engines I had seen before didnt have it so I didnt understand how it makes the hole the smaller, I thought it covered it in some way completely.
So yeah the cover came off and the bolts are able to be turned. Thanks.
