2003 Blazer xtreme 4.3 vortec 60,250 miles. I live in the Pacific northwest and we recently had some snow for about 5 days, I went out today to start it and all it did was crank over. I put the battery charger on, checked that the coil was putting off spark I can smell raw fuel from the exhaust, sprayed some starting fluid and nothing. Intermitted wanting to fire but mainly just cranking over. Any ideas where to start? It doesnt get driven that much..... maybe 100 miles on a good month.

Then it it doesnt start after two ten second cycles of that, pump the pedal while cranking. The PCM will send MORE than normal gas when it sees that.
It's important especially with our trucks to do the pedal routine in that order until you establish which is needed. Then until you get it fixed, you can just do the one that worked..
HOWEVER... if it's been a while since you started it and there have been wet conditions and especially if the engine has beads of water on it, AND you havent had a tuneup for a while, and it starts sort of hard after an overnight fog OR RAIN FROM A WARM FRONT PASSING THROUGH.. chances are there's no spark getting to the plugs and the engine will flood.

All he said & https://blazerforum.com/forum/engine...not-run-45944/
Also have you taken the distributor off & checked inside? I know you said the coil is putting off spark but are the plug wires? If starting fluid doesn't get it to kick over then I'm guessing the plugs aren't getting power or the right power.
Did you know that WD-40 stands for Water Displacement? (hint hint, nudge nudge)
Intermittent firing, like it tries & stumbles makes me want to remove the distributor.

I just found a thread on this forum (back in 2007) that described my problem to a "T". My 2002 Blazer was hard to start after a rain. It would bump a few times when I let go of the key but never catch. Eventually it would start (with much gagging and wheezing) after fifteen to twenty long pulls on the starter. It rained again this weekend and, like clockwork, it wouldn't start. This time I pulled the cap, rotor and wiring plug on the distributor then hosed it down with contact cleaner as the thread suggested. I installed a new rotor for giggles, plugged the wire harness back in the distributor and it fired right up. Doubt this is a fix but it seems to have isolated my problem. Here is a link to the thread. Hope it helps.
