Default Odd Issue

This one has me kinda stumped. My blazer runs like a champ since I replaced the FPR. However, I have noticed a weird issue while driving. It only happens when I am coasting. I'll have my foot completely off the gas pedal while travelling down a gentle slope and every 3 or 4 seconds its almost like the transmission 'bumps?'. The best way I can describe it is it feels like it disengages for just a split second resulting in a slight 'bump' of deceleration. This only happens when coasting in overdrive.

Any ideas?

there seems to be a lot of that right now.... chances are its not the tranny. mines doing that same thing in overdrive under very very light throttle around 2k rpm.. next time it does this look to see if your rpms are jumping around or not...i'm starting with cleaning the egr and o2s then moving to test iginition coil and TPS this weekend to see if that clears it up.

The RPM's do drop by about 500 when this 'disengage' occurs.

When I changed my FPR 3 weeks ago I cleaned the EGR and replaced the O2 sensor. Haven't ever replaced the coil..or TPS.. I will look into them. I didn't think that the CPI had a coil.

Anybody else have any ideas? I'm worried that it may be the tranny.. and usually problems with the tranny only get worse, and that is the scary part-there is no way in hell i can afford a new one. I might as well do a hot and cold transmission fluid check tomorrow.
