got a 2000 2X4.Oil leaks everywhere. Starting from the front i had to replace the cooler lines. Then I noticed oil dripping down the oil filter( i installed it so I know it was installed right) Was told it was the O ring on the housing. Now I noticed oil coming out of one of the rubber (vent tubes) I'm assuming thats what they are, located next to where the eng. and trany come together. Would I be right assuming that it's the rear main seal. and if so how difficult is it to pull the trany back on it( it is a A/T)and to replace the seal?
