Question Opinions on Luke clutches?

I've got an appointment for Wednesday to get my worn clutch replaced. Has anyone had any experience with Luke clutches? The owner of the trans shop (a reputable one) said that they're better than GM OEM equipment.

I hope he's right because I'm getting a pretty good price, he's the cheapest in town and my grandfather has been going to him for transmission work on his old 86 Jimmy for years so I tend to trust him.

Turns out it's actually spelt LuK lol... and with a little more research they're made by the same company that manufactures Centerforce clutches... sounds good to me? How about anyone else?

i work at a tranny shop and that's all we use. look at other so called brand name clutches or pressure plates and you probably will see Luk stamped on there. You may even see Luk stamped on OEM. Some performance clutch packages even grind the name Luk off!
