Default oxygen sensors

I have replaced 4 oxygen sensors recently and finally found out from a mechanic that something called "sprayers" is causing the sensors to go out. He gave me a $900 estimate to fix it but I don't know if that is a fair estimate and have no idea what the sprayers are other than that they spay gas. Does anyone know anything about this?

Sprayers huh, how well do you know this guy? Most likely he's speaking of your injectors and spider and what rriddle asked. More info you throw the better.

My Blazer is a 2001. Something is causing the sensors to go out and its not age. Anyone have any ideas? I have replaced them all and after about two weeks of driving one goes out again.

Did you replace with Delco/Delphi O2 Sensors?

I had numerous issues with Bosch and have heard of some others that have too.

Bosch sensors seem to have different Heater characteristics, on some newer vehicles they can be "calibrated" to work properly. I just use Delco/Delphi sensors and skip the problems.

I'm betting its crappy aftermarket sensors as bromanjr stated. Delco only IMO!
