What are the symptoms and difference to your TBI?

Starting?

Idle cold?

Idle warm?

Acceleration from standstill?

Acceleration from (let's say) 2'000 rpm?

Just need a bit more details...

Starts good , rough idle cold and hot , somewhat good acceleration, no top end acceleration because trans does not kick down it also hesitates going down road I am starting to think the trans is going bad no codes 150,000 miles

have you pulled the spark plugs?

and checked the timing with a timing lamp?
(disconnect brown wire below pax side carpet should be a connector in the 1994 s10 blazer)
Timing should then be 0.

I could be wrong but I'm sure I've read that the CPI system needs 55 psi just to open the poppet valves properly.

I'll have a look at the manual but it will take a day or two to have the time to do so.
