Default Problem with serpentine belt wheel

I popped my hood on my 89 blazer the other day and saw my serpentine belt was twisted over itself. I found that the wheel that connects to the air conditioning compressor had torn itself up so the belt slipped off. I took the wheel out and rigged the belt as though it just didnt have air conditioning and it runs but I would like to order a new part. What is that wheel called, I have no idea?

I believe that 'wheel' is actually part of the a/c compressor. Pretty pricey repair...I'd look into why the compressor seized enough to chew the pulley..

a new a/c compressor is about $150 plus core charge. You will also need to have someone evacuate teh freon and if you convert to teh new stuff you can buy the cans and install the new freon yourself.
