questions about this process
Hello, I just purchased a 93 Blazer and I am having some of the same shifting problems that others are having. I followed a few of the links to the TV adjustment cable page and it scared the apples out of me. Is it really as it sounds or will I notice right away if I mess this up?
I have already put 500 miles in the five days since I purchased this thing and I don't want to make a little problem huge, but I usually do my own repairs. How easy is this?
Vino
PS if my wife sees me working on this new truck that i just spent our savings on, this will be my last post until I get out of the butt chewing chair.

Easy as pie and no you wont hurt anything doing it. You should notice if its adjusted correctly right away.

OK this is done and now I idle at 2000 rpm. did I do something wrong or did the last owner makes some changes to over compensate for something?
It seems to shift a lot better (still not as good as hoped but better) but at 2000 rpm i can make it to work without the gas peddle.
any ideas
PS my adjustment tab had to pull up not push down how weird is that? is this becasue I have a full size blazer and not the s-10?
