Default Recommend V8 or Stay with V6CPI

Had 1995 4wd cpi v6 4.3 engine. I removed and junked it was cracked very bad. Was trying to descide if I should replace it with the same knowing the fuel problems the cpi has with the pipetts leaking or put in a v8 engine. My 4wd is electronically controlled is a powertrain blazer. What v8 engines can anyone recommend or recommend staying with v6 engine.

Check out the JTR website. They are the pros about what has to be done for that type engine swap in a Blazer.
