Default removing the front drive shaft on Bravada

I have a 94 Bravada just a putt around truck back and for the to work and short runs no family road trips, well just got the news that the front differential is messed up thinking of unhooking the front drive shaft and just leaving it be 2wd ?

Your truck is equipped with BW4472 transfer case that splits the torque between the front and rear axle, 35%/65%. It is a fluid coupling transfer case which has no physical connection between the transfer case input shaft and the rear output shaft. As such, there is no 2wd mode. If you disconnect the front driveshaft, you will burn up the transfer case and likely go no where in the process.

OK thanks for the info, can I remove the transfer case and put a 2wd tail shaft on the transmission ?

You can, but changing out the tailshaft on the 4L60E requires gutting the transmission. The tailshaft comes out through the front of the transmission case.
