I'm really sorry about that. If I could delete my idiocy I would.

I dont see how a Torque converter could fail completely, I'm not at all sure that changing the solenoids will do anything considering that everything seems to not work at all. I think you have serious valve body problems but I'm not a tranny expert.
But at this point, putting in the new ones couldnt hurt unless you decide to send them back unopened for a refund.. and take your tranny to a reputable INDEPENDENT rebuilder , not some 'national shop'.

got it, you're fine man. I think I will change the "noids" and see what happens...I'm kinda broke right now so taking it to a shop if it doesn't fix it will have to wait. Thanks for your help guys!!!

I have seen a number of torque converters fail in this manner. The in/out of OD as previously mentioned means that the clutch was already being affected. What occurs is the stator & rotor blades can deform, break, or the plates themselves can balloon to the point where they do not transfer the power properly. In dramatic failures, the plates break free from their respective driver/driven component causing a complete lack of torque transfer to the input shaft. The outer hub on the torque converter only transfers power to the pump, not the rest of the transmission.

Changing out the solenoids won't hurt unless you screw something up in the install. Just be slow & methodical with the replacement taking care not to drag the wires across the valve body (sharp edges, etc) and don't tug on the wiring and you should be fine.

OK, problem solved.

I Pulled the pan off and was shocked at the color of the fluid. It was still red but had swirls of black in it. There was a layer of black sticky stuff all over everything inside as well. I went over to my trash barrel and pulled out one of the quart jugs and realized the autozone dude sold me synthetic...which I found out after some research releases anything stuck on in your trans and promptly coats everything with it.

So all of my solenoids were clogged with the crap and couldn't move(I bench tested them). I cleaned everything up, replaced the solenoids, and put fresh synthetic fluid and a fresh filter in. She runs perfect, no slipping or hard shifting.

I would say I got lucky on this one. From now on I will be one of those guys that preaches against synthetic trans fluid. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP GUYS!!!
