replaced intake gasket now knocking when start up any suggestions??

Question replaced intake gasket now knocking when start up any suggestions??

i just replaced my intake gasket on sunday and now i have a knocking noise around the passenger valve cover is it possible something is loose?

i doubt it prob got some coolant down in a lifter. got oil pressure? change oil after running? u always get some coolant down inside. i would change oil if didnt already and let idle up to temp and drive easy, a lifter should go away if its air or coolant. if not she may be hurt, a bottle of stp oil additive goes along way on this too

Hey guys.I just did the same project.I replaced the intake manifold gasket and reassembled everything .changed the oil and oil filter .once started ,I got a bad knocking noise which it wasn't doing it before .not sure if it's the lifters or the rod bearings .

me too.... and its rod bearings...
