Replacement radiator, nozzles wrong
Hi, im a bit of a novice when it comes to car work, I recently had a problem with my radiator, mainly the plastic nozzle is cracked, anyway the garage here in Munich wanted alot of money for a new rad, so I did some research found a radiator, spoke to the guy in california and made sure it was the right one, he sent it and I spoke to the garage today and they said that the nozzles on the radiator are the wrong way round? could this be because its a UK blazer? I cant imagine thats the case? and the radiator is a 3rd party one? ideas anyone?

another thought would it also not be possible to just make the tubes longer so that they then go into the correct nozzles?

Have you actually looked at the new radiator to compare it to the original one? That would tell you whether the inlet and outlet are on the wrong sides or not. If they are, and you told the seller in California that it was for a right hand drive truck, I would say it would be his responsibility to make a refund.
Ok I took a look they are on the other side, also spoke with someone, again me being a novice, I did alot of research making sure it was the right one, transmission cooler etc, the only thing I never thought is that the RHD use a different rad! dang, I asked the garage if they could install the hoses to cross over, he said they can try but he cant guarantee it'll work Im guessing because it will loose pressure and put more load on the pump? anyone have experience of fitting a LHD rad in a RHD?
Are you talking about the water ports are on the wrong sides or the transmission lines?
If its the water ports sounds like you have the wrong radiator. Models with a 2.8 has the ports reversed compared the 4.3 engine.
If its just the tranny cooler lines you can easily extend them to make it work with pressure rated rubber hose.

Well its the 4.3 V6, but turns out the RHD radiator is mirrored from the normal LHD, so had to reorder the correct RHD rad, you really dont want to know how much!
All the lines are swapped over, so I figured better to play it safe and get the real deal
