How do you see if an airinject check valve is bad??? and how can you check the smog pump?? Swartlkk? ty

Yes hertz20 i had exhaust coming out of the left bank. tried to take of the valve!!?? ya right it's seized. In reading other posts i found you can block them off. I put a piece a beer can and hose clamp on the tube from the exhaust manifold an put a plug in the rubber line to the smog pump. seems to be running like it used to.
