Hello in the round I have a blazer from 1999,
The problem: Yellow lamp on the 4X4 switch and fuse in the engine compartment.
Every time the fuse blows, unexpectedly it lasts for a day or two (yellow lamp on) then suddenly the lamp goes out again, the fuse blows again.
When the yellow light is on, everything works, it shifts all gears, but when the yellow light goes off, nothing works.
What could that be ???
Greetings Andy

A couple thoughts do occur to me. First, do have and OBD codes stored that could help with the diagnosis? Second, since the fuse doesn't blow immediately, perhaps the issue is with a bad and/or intermittent electrical connection?
Hopefully another person has had this experience and can give a better suggestion.
This can be a few things:
A short in the wiring
A bad encoder motor assembly
A bad transfer case control module
I would start by unplugging the encoder motor assembly and use the truck for a few days and see if the fuse blows. Try to change to 4 wheel drive a few times as well.
