Two resistors and a switch:
B&M Shift Plus Revealed - Performance Forum - j-body.org - the jbody organization

shiftplus - Blazer Forum - Chevy Blazer Forums - Threads Tagged with shiftplus

All that supplied, I question how wise it is to modify your transmission pressures that simplistically.

As it is.. the shiftplus is pretty much the equivalent of the 'performance chips' that stick resistors in the IAT circuit. Surprised B&M does something like that.

Ford guys have an almost universally approved valvebody mod called the 'J-mod' which everyone who does performance modding installs along with, or even before, a performance torque converter. I did some routine searching and havent found any equivalent for the GM trannies.

You'll notice if you pay attention that this really isnt a performance modding site so it might be better to ask any questions on that on a forum like:

Yes.. it will modify how your shifts feel.. but maybe I should have bullet-pointed:

  • I question how wise it is to modify your transmission pressures that simplistically.
  • Surprised B&M does something like that.
I'm NOT a transmission expert but I have some experience in what happens when pressures exceed what the tranny is designed for.. and it's not good.
On the other hand the links I supplied provide quite a lot of discussion fodder.

Never go on just what any one person says about something like this.
