Default Seafoamed Intake...but now....grrrr

Seafoamed the intake like others have done on here. Had rough idle at stop lights, but couldnt tell with my digital dash...sounded like a miss also. So I decided to try the seafoam. Never done it before, i watch videos of people dumping a can into the brake booster hose with vehicle running, then shut off and wait for 15 - 30 minutes.

I did that. Waited about 25 minutes then let it run. Drove it, and it smoked pretty good. Idle seemed to smooth out...but now my engine vibrates around 1500 to 2200 rpms.

Almost thought it was going to die on me, but it wouldnt.

If I stomp on the throttle, I can still feel it vibrate.

What in the heck did I just do???

Gone from crappy running, no vibration to great running, vibrating motor.

Yea all the carbon build up goes right to the plugs then into the exhaust . So it is very possible thats your problem .

I AM COMPLETELY STUMPED!!!!

Started pulling plugs to check for carbon...got to last plug on drivers side...had to pull off from wheel well....

This is where im confused!!!

The boot was the only thing on the plug, so I was looking for the wire from the distributer....couldnt located it right off...so i started checking what wire went where...and found it....but it too was just the boot.

Something ate the wire...its gone....completely....just vanished!!

WTF???

Its them damn wire gremlins they get ya every time, lol. seriously idk where the wire would go, maybe the vibration made it fall off, or the steering wheel column pulled it off.

I used SeaFoam and had the same issue, some people I know used it and a week later there car stopped running and blew a head gasket, or it made it run worse.

So did you replace the wire, and check the plugs? how is it running now?

I ended up using old wires from my cavalier. It was too long so I hacked it. Shortened it up, but put it back together (til I can afford new plug wires, cap and rotor) and now it purrrrrrs. Im not used to how quiet it is now...

I think the wire got caught on the steering column, pulled out of the boot, then the wire must have fallen down near the axle, wrapped around that and pulled off the spark plug...my only guess.
