I made my own tool for the hard to do spark plugs

What is the big deal? It only takes 5 minutes to get the steering column disconnected from the gear box.

obviously you've got small arms to reach in there, and your truck is so clean, you could eat off it. have you ever tried to remove that shaft from a truck that gets played on (full of mud, rust, grease, you name it)? plus the 2nd gen trucks have even less room for me to get my arms into.

only crack it free, didn't think they would make it easy for you did ya? lol but for me thats all i needed to do, i usually jus use a piece of tubing stripped off of 1/0 guage wire and press it on then spin it right out only take maybe 5 mins if that once u get it down, but i have also fabricated tools for uses so theres nothing wrong with that whatever makes it easier go for it

thanks bigrig. i kinda figured that's how it would be. as for making it easier, well yeah, they have by making this tool. but they didn't make it simple........simple would have been using the socket all the way. but that's ok, it's still easier than going through the mud caked wheel well, hahahahaha!
