Default Some help required

A friend of mine is looking for the overall length of a TH350 gearbox with NP205 transfer box, the total length nose to tail. I think he's looking at putiing a sbc in his landrover winch challenge truck.

Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Phil

depends on which tranny he has. the short, medium or longtail 350 turbo. the 205 is 12.5" from mounting on tranny to end. (without adapters.)

The 'tail' is bolted on and does not change the main case dimensions of the TH350. The main case of the TH350 was 21.63" (some say 21.75") from the front of the bell housing to the tail housing mounting face according to TCI's website. The TH350 to NP205 adapter was an additional 4" of length (IIRC), but there might have been a 2" version as well.
