Default Stripped transmission line inlet brand new radiator!

Had my son help me install a brand new radiator and he overtightened the tranny line and stripped the threads! Will not be warrantied. Wondering if i can just bypass it and install an external tranny cooler?! Please help

Of course you can. Just make sure to use correct hose material that will take the trans fluid (say NO to fuel line) and the pressure (which can get up to as much as 85psi in some cases). Double clamp the lines so they don't slip off or leak. Good luck and best wishes for a successful repair.
