Hello all, I have been looking at a manual trans swap for my blazer. I found out that a r150 fits in the same spot as the ole 4Lslippy with minimal mods. I was curious if anyone has tried something like this before?
Im a little lost when it comes to clutch master cylinder, all the computer geometry, and if the stock centre console has to get modified.
I’ll be honest, I got this crazy idea from my one Toyota buddy that slammed a 4.3 vortec in the front of his 85 pickup. In the end tho, I just want a transmission that ‘I’ can fix. Sick of tranny problems.

Looking for thoughts, recommendations, and questions. If you are one of those guys that think you shouldn’t mix and match between manufacturers please mover on. I have no interest in a nv3500 or any getrag trash.
