Thumbs up Throttle body deflector trim

I don't want to tear into the exhaust until the weather gets cooler, so i decided to experiment with the air deflector.......

I trimmed about 1/4" off and gave it try.....that didn't make a noticeable difference.......

So i went ahead and trimmed down to 1/2"........that made the throttle response just right for me.......

We travel a lot of mountain roads, down thru a lot of washouts [we have had a lot of rain this year].....what i like the best about that extra faster response is when i come up out of the wash, i can just step down enough, to power out but not spin the wheels in the sand or loose rock....

I don't know about gas mileage, [around town and mountain roads ! ? ] I just know that, it is like driving a new vehicle since the spider job and the air plate tweek......

I'll decide about the exhaust in a couple of months......
