Default tranny problem?

hey guys and gals im new here. My 02' blazer xtreme has some trouble when it gets nice and hot. When im at a light or something and hit the gas it don't want to get up to speed as fast as it should. Its worse the hotter it is outside too. The motor revs up fine and sometimes you have to almost floor it to get it up to speed. its very sluggish. Any Ideas?

Default RE: tranny problem?

Check your transmission fluid level. Engine running after 20 minutes of driving, parked on flat level ground, and pull the tranny dip stick out. It only takes 1 pint to go from teh bottom of the crosshatch to the top on teh dip stick.
