Angry transmission cooling lines

I had a leak on the lower trnasmission cooling line at the tranny. I took the line out of the fitting...it was a quick disconnect....i was going to replace the o ring. I tried to get the line back into the fitting and now it wont go in. I can not figure out for the life of me why it wont go back in...Can someone help me or tell what i am doing wrong

i pulled the old o ring out and it still would not go back in without an o ring period. I would replace the fitting except the old fitting will not break loose for me to get out. It is as though someone put loc tite or the stupid thing is welded into the transmission.

well if you still cant get them in make sure the line end is not deformed in any way. and if its good keep trying it will go the line has to go perfectly straight in to the fitting.
