I have a 2004 Blazer LS 4WD.
The transmission (4L60E) has been slipping for a while and i just haven't been able to save up enough to rebuild it. It is my daily driver and starting this morning, it will not engage in third...
Could someone point me in the right direction as to a detailed manual that would give me step by step instructions on removal, rebuild, and re-installation?
I cannot afford to have it rebuilt by someone else and I really don't know enough to just wing it.
Please help...

Honestly,if your having to ask how to remove it,the rebuild is not for you. Dont take this as offensive. Ive seen alot of people "try" and end up spending double and lots of headaches. As i did when i first started out. Too many things that can go wrong. Also, the special tools you need cost a few pennies, and by the time your done,IF it works you will have 4-500 bucks in it. If it doesnt work, you did all this for nothing, and you cant get any money back. you could go with a used transmission for about the same or less, and have a warranty. A decent rebuild kit is 300 bucks, plus special tools, and the huge gamble your taking. Give me your zip code and i can look at the used transmissions in your area in the yard data base and i can help you find a replacement.
