transmission interchange

will a tranny from a 93 jimmy 4.3l work in a 99 blazer 4.3l, i am pretty shure it will bolt up but is the electricial the same

the one from your 93 is the 700R4, basically a non-electronically controlled 4L60E which is what is in your 99. it will bolt up, but the electonics will be totally different.
