Default Transmission shift hard into 1st

Hello guys I need some help here, my blazer 95, 4.3L W vin, 4 door and 4x4 when slowing down enough that needs to shift into first like making a yield turn or uphill doesn't shift pretty quick, but my concern is that it makes a loud sound (like something engaged) and then it downshifts. Transmission fluid doesn't look or smell burned, levels are good, truck only has 94000 miles.... Truck shift perfect and strong thru all up shifts and downshifts except 1st. In case it helps I drive it only on 2hi.

Thanks you for your reply, I think it would be a bit hard but I can try for the benefit or solving this mistery... I will try to do this tomorrow afternoon, and if I'm successful I will post it for you.

Its been very hard to take a video And drive with out feeling reckless . I know it's hard to describe a noise but it's not grinding noise its more like banging noise that u can actually feel when it happens if your paying attention
