squeaking sound

Default squeaking sound

please help, i have this squeaking coming from a pulley or maybe my fan its hard to tell it seems to only squeak right before it starts to rain or when its very humid outside it never squeaks when its nice outside. thank you hope someone has an answer for this.

Quite a common problem. Most likely it is your serpentine belt (accessory drive belt). As the belt ages, the rubber gets harder and is more prone to slipping on the pulleys. A temporary fix would be to spray a can of belt dressing on the belt. Or do what I did, purchase a new belt and keep the old belt as a spare. I'm partial to Goodyear Gatorback, but Gates and Dayco are excellent alternatives. I choose the gatorback because it has a tread pattern cut into the grooved side of the belt helping it bend and stay in good, slip free contact.
