truck turn off under hard braking?
i can't figure out why but when i slam on the brakes the truck turns off, last time i did that was to avoid an idiot who jumped infront of my car at the last second and the whole thing shut off. after that i thought maybe because i had almost less than 1 gallon left in the gas tank, filled it up and tried it again on a empty road and sure enough the truck turned off when i slammed on the brakes....any idea's on what could be the problem?
i had recently changed the water pump, thermostat, radiator, altinator, starter, egr valve, battery, new front rotors, pads and calipers, new drums and shoes, properly bleed the system, new power steering pump. never really thought about this problem till now... i want to get on it before summer arrives.

Does the battery hold a charge well? For what reason did you change the alternator? Any major vaccum leaks around the brake booster? Any check engine lights? I assume this is a blazer. :P I had this same problem on an old camaro I used to drive. It had a weak battery, and If I stomped on the brakes the revs would drop out and it would stall, then about a week, later the fuel pump quit heading down my bumpy driveway.
I would have the battery tested and then test the fuel pressure.

yea the battery is holding charge, the altinator was changed for my own reason i wanted most of the mechanical parts in new condition as i am going to use the truck for long state to state driving all summer long.
no vaccum leaks any where that i can see or hear near the brake booster, no CEL and yes is a 95 blazer 2dr 4x4. i will look into the fuel pressure as soon as i can. thanks
