Upper Intake Manifold

Upper Intake Manifold
Hi,
I'm a new member, hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on my situation. Can't seem to get the upper intake manifold off. Read an old thread suggesting penitrating oil and a little heat (no flame), someone even mentioned hitting it with a hammer. Tried all that, though was pretty delicate when hitting it with a hammer. Any other ideas? My ride is a 1995 Chevy Blazer.

Thanks, unfortunatly it doesn't have any tips on my problem. I even trid using a crow bar and found a good spot to try and hit it loose, with no luck. Doesn't make sense, I'm just worried about breaking something if I put anymore force into it. Hope you have more luck with yours.

Are you sure you got all the bolts out? Don't forget the one towards the front in the middle, under where the Vortec cover was (near the pcv hose connection).

I had the same problem with mine and it turned out to be 2 bolts that i missed. Make sure that you have got ten out all together for it and good luck with it. Hope that helps you.
