Default Vacuum line?

Hello again everyone I was recently redoing my engine vacuum lines do to them being very cracked and dried out, I did every line but one there is one line that runs from the driver side off of the engine with the rest of the lines but goes to the passenger side just behind the distributor then goes down i can't seem to track were it goes, can anyone give me an idea where this line connects? I thought it was for my 4X4 actuator but my system is electronic

Thank you all for your help I appreciate any info

As stated in your other thread, while the transfer case is electronically actuated, the front axle engagement is vacuum actuated. That line runs back to the vacuum switch mounted on the transfer case. There will also be a line that runs from the vacuum switch to the front axle engagement actuator on the passenger side of the engine compartment either under the battery or mounted to the inside of the fender near the battery.

I just posted the NV233 vacuum diagrams in another thread today. I believe it was in the 2nd Gen Tech section. If you run a search for "NV233+vacuum" with an author of "swartlkk", it should be near the top.

Thank you again Swartlkk for your fast reply when i was changing out the vacuum lines I removed the battery holder to change the vacuum line on the actuator but when I got the holder out all that was hooked up to the actuator was a line with electrical wire flex tubing on it, do any blazers come with an electrical actuator for the front diff?

I'm going to take a look at it again right now just to be sure

Thanks again for the help

Ok just finished checking and of course you were right as usual Swartlkk lol, It is vacuum operated but for some reasone they cover it with electrical flex tubing, i'm assuming to protect it. So I think I figured it out now, the vacuum supply from the engine runs to the electronic switch on the transfer case, then from there it runs up to the vacuum actuator under the battery holder, and the switch just controls the suppy to the actuator by giving it vacuum or switches it to vent stopping the vacuum and letting in out side air. There is my problem, I think I have a vacuum leak from the supply to the switch or the switch to the actuator.

Thank you very much for the help now I have a much better understanding of how my 4X4 works
