I have a 98 zr2. recently a vacuum line fell down. it comes from top of the transmission (auto) and hits the ground with about 3 foot dragging the ground. damned if I can find where it goes. thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

There is a vent tube on the top of the transmission that runs to the firewall. It's mounted there to keep water out. It's not connected to the vacuum system. If you can follow your loose line back and let us know where it comes from we can figure out where it goes.

That would be awesome. I have the ac working like a champ. I aint eager to pull that dash. Fortunately I live in florida and it's winter. The port you are referring to is one of the several that meet and go into the firewall? I drive a truck so I wont be home for a couple of days.
