Default Vibrations when accelerating

Hey BlazerForum,
so ever since i got my blazer whenever i accelerate at a somewhat quick rate i get a fairly harsh vibration. I am not sure if this is a common problem with all the blazers or if it is due to the 3" lift that i have. Could someone please offer some advice as to what might be wrong?

BTW its a 2001 ZR2 Blazer

Thanks
-Derek

UPDATE: just read a post of someone that had the same problem. He replaced his rear u-joints and he said the problem went away. Could this be the same problem that i am having?

I don't know who put the lift on the truck but lifting the truck could cause the drive shaft to go out of balance. Look at drive shaft to see if maybe a weight did not come off on its own, you will see a witness mark where it use to be. It definitely could be a U-joint also.

I would suspect your ujoints... they dont cost too much, and are not too hard to change. You can undo your driveshaft at the diff and try moving them, they should move very easily each way, if they feel tight then change them.

Make sure your replacements are the type with a grease zerk on them so you can lube em up at oil changes...
