Wants to start on first try and if it doesn't, it won't start until the 4th try.
2000 4x4 zr2 wants to start on first try, and usually does, but if you can't get it to start first try, good luck. It won't start until the 4th or 5th try after that. Sketchy because my battery dies often.

Do a fuel pressure test. I think Autozone and others loan the testers.
With the truck off, but key on, it's supposed to be around 60psi. It should maintain above 50psi for 10 min after the key is off

So if grey is pump power, I will have to double check that terminal again. I don’t recall seeing voltage. I assume it will be constant voltage when the key is on?
Had and to wrap up earlier today for a birthday party. Next time I get out there that is where I will start.
The 5v was on the purple which looks like it is not involved for this issue.

I agree with oldeerslayer, it sounds like a fuel issue, most likely the fuel pump. Best check that fuel pressure.
