Default Weird nocking coming from the engine

Hello everyone...well, for the past 2 weeks my 92 blazer has been having this weird nocking noise coming from the engine, at first i didnt gave it too much attention but i have notice that it has lost some power and im thinking it could be related to the valvetrain, the nocking speeds up as i accelerate and it doesnt stops...any idea what it could be???thanx for any info.

Default RE: Weird nocking coming from the engine

Is it a tapping or a knocking. If you have a wooden hammer (handle and all), hit the handle on a table top. That noise (tap) should be similar to a lifter tapping. With the same wooden hammer, hit the head of the hammer on the table top. That noise (knock) would be similar to that of a bottom end knock due to high bearing wear and/or a spun bearing.
