Default what motors could i put in a 2000 blazer?

so went out to our local off roading spot jim creek and i managed to find the biggest hole in the crossing. water was up over the hood. needless to say the motor took a very large gulp of water and bent a connecting rod. seized up tight. probably gonna buy a used motor to drop in but im not sure if i can get away with another motor besides one from another blazer. what engines fit in a 2000 chevy blazer that came with the l35 vortec v6?

I suppose the answer to that qustion is how much work do you want to do or are capable of? You can put any engine in a Blazer with enough desire. But as far as a drop-in you're going to want to go with something out of a Blazer or pickup that has the same engine build. If you do a wikipedia search for 'Chevy L35', you should probably come up with a list of vehicles it came in.
