Fuel pump? Is it original? It could be the cause...

Do you have any noise while you accelerate?

When was the last time your truck has had a tune up (plugs/wires/cap/rotor)? I would atleast check the plugs to see how they are doing. Wires can be checked with a spray bottle of water at night. If you see sparks jumping from wire to pretty much any thing else, they'll need replacing. Also, the cap/rotor tend to foul up over time. If you were to pull off the cap, you could assess the condition of both the cap and rotor.

I would start there. It is never a bad idea to do a full tune up, especially if one has not been done.

Hi

I have change the rotor and will change this week the spark plugs and the cable. Hope it will come back good. But it seem's to be worst on rainy day, so i have to look for spark in the dark... ;-)

I will check tonight

Hi

I still have same problem. If i start the truck and don't wait a bit, i seem to have no power praticly. Everything goes back to normal after a few minutes. So if a start the truck with my remote starter and wait a bit i don't see the problem.

Any idea ?

Martin

You say you changed the rotor... But did you change the distributor cap as well?

If the problem goes away when it warms up, it could be the ignition module, or maybe an intake gasket... Is the computer throwing any trouble codes?
