where should the rpm be if im at 65 mph?
Hello everyone a newbie here, I just boughta stock 2000 Blazer LS with 60,000 miles. When I'm driving on the freeway going around 60-70 mph the rpm is barely at 2000 rpm, is that right? It seems rather low.. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

the lower the rpm the less your engine is revving=better fuel economy

Sounds about right. Without knowing your gear ratio, can't say for sure. Sounds right about where my Rainier and my old Bravada were at 65mph and both are 3.73 gears.
