I got a 96 blazer 4x4 4.3L. Got a rod knocking and need an engine. I got a good deal on a 4.3L that came out of a 2000 s-10 extreme. Will this engine fit into mine? maybe change the motor mounts? Someone asked me if my 4.3 engine had a plastic top because if it did it would work. If it had a metal top then it would not. Any suggestions?

 

The 2000 motor will be a direct drop in swap. Should even be plug-n-play.
