Wiring a Tachometer

Default Wiring a Tachometer

Hello i hope im posting in the Right area
ive got a 87 S10 Blazer with the 2.8 Motor
i wanna put my Tach that i have laying around in it but i need help
I know Run the Red wire to my fuse box, Black to a Ground, White to a light source, and Green to my coil
BUT
the question is Where on my coil i know its suppsoed to be the negative side but im stunned
Does any1 know which color Wire to run the Green wire to on the coil????
PLEASEHELPPP

Default

On the distributor, there should be a pink wire and a white wire. The white wire is the tach wire.
