1990 K5 Brake Connections?

Can anyone tell me what these connections are for? One of them comes out of the master cylinder and the other is in a group of other wires. I'm just wondering why it's disconnected and what it is used for?

well i just checked my 87, and i dont have either one of them plugs on mine
