Thinking of doing a conversion to fuel injection and hunting for anyone that has done this. I currently have 305 carb without ECM engine with 700r overdrive trans. Of course all the emission stuff on it too. Anyone done this before? Thanks

 

My 86 K5 had this done. It was this way when I bought it. I removed all the EFI TBI stuff and put a carb back on. ( for smog tests ) It ran pretty good. I still have all the parts for the cross over. I will post a youtube link below that shows the REVERSE of this process. Changing from TBI back to Carb. You might see some things or find some ideas.

 

Great video! I have a bone stock k5 with 305. 46k original miles and can not keep it from running rich. I'm at a point was thinking going fuel injected, but after seeing your video with the carb you have installed seems like you are satisfied with the carb and intake. I'm brain storming of some way to get this this running better. Thanks
