87 k5 problems. stalls then appears to get no fuel?
Ok my friend has a k5 blazer with a 5.7 tbi with a manual trans.
Sometimes when he starts up the truck and goes and drives around it's really jerky and whatnot when he's taking off from a start and it even gets jerky if he gets on it. Other times it runs fine.
Sometimes when he stalls it because it gets so jerky it won't fire back up, and we checked spark while it was doing it's no start ting and it was getting spark and we could hear the pump goign on. but we say no fuel getting into the tbi. We then poured gas in the tbi while cranking it and it started right up and kept running.....
Anyone have any ideas. he cleaned out his iacv, and we tested the tps as well per alldata instructions.
Figured i'd post up for him and see if it's a common issue we're unaware of.

Anybody have any input? want to get some ideas before we just go grab a whole intake and fuel pump off of one that's getting parted on craigslist...

Unplug the MAP sensor see what happens! Maybe theEGR?

sounds like it doesn't have enough fuel pressure to start and when you get it started its starving of fuel check the fuel pressure
