Ok the brakes on My girlfriends full size chevy went soft. We took it to a shop I trust very much and have done a ton of work for me and people I know with no problems. They replace her master cylander and all was ok. Her dad was driving her truck the next day and the ABS light came on. Now the abs is not working, the brakes still work fine just no abs. He said when he looked under the hood it seemed t be leaking brake fluid but the cover was not on all the way. I don't really know what to make of this, did they screw up the abs somehow or did they just not see that it was also messed up, the abs light was not coming on before they did the work.

 

Take it back to the shop that did the brake work on it. They may have disconnectedor broke the ABSsensor wire on it...
