Anyone use a powertrax
I have installed a couple of these, they are really easy to install. It works like a factory limited slip, though a little more noisy, not bad though. It took about as long to install as new spider gears are to install. I have been thinking about doing this to mine lately!! Korey.
If I remember correctly, the cross pin gets installed through teh center of teh spider gears, so once you remove the cross-pin retainer bolt, slide out the cross pin, push in the axles, remove the c-clips, remove axles you can just pry one spider gear out and since teh axles are removed the other three will just fall out right?
Then the install should just be following directions from there I assume, it looks easy enough, and since I have a quiet rear now andthere will be no removal of the carrier (which is a huge benefit) thats about all you have to do,am I correct? If so I can even do it at home with no special tools, just like the ad says...
