Default Cold Engine Knock Artical

Ive been noticing that my 1992 K1500 has been knocking whenI first start it in the morning but then the knock goes away after a few minutes, of course Im thinking, "here we go.. pans commin off this weekend" but then I stumbled across this artical that I didnt know about soI thought I would share it, here it is...

good to know, but it also sounds like gm is just b-****ting the public so we are forced to use the dealership. like that stupid oil change light in my 04 express vanthat wont go off unless the dealership puts in a code or it violates their warranty if a mechanic does it.

that just furtherproves my theroy on how GM is under communist rule... J/K

They probably have a service bulliten for a rod hanging out of the side of the block and why thats normal too

Rooster, On your 04 van turn the key on and push the gas pedal down 3 times within 10 seconds of turning the key on and that should reset your change oil light. Korey.
